Hank Nothhaft, Danger's CEO, recently got interviewed by the Financial Times.

Among other things he talks about his favorite application right now, our very own MyAuctioneer.

MyAuctioneer let's you track, search, bid and buy items on eBay right from your Sidekick. It's yet another application we brought to the platform that really blurred the line of mobile and desktop, many find it a better experience than using the website itself.

Hank agrees:
"MyAuctioneer software. I’m a collector of obscure programmes from American Football games and it gives me Ebay bids. It shows the auctions I’m following, the ones I’m bidding in and a little bit of history, all on a single page on the Sidekick."

We are working hard to bring you a multiplayer basketball game to the Sidekick. It's a 3PT shootout with some pretty fun twists. It's got a really nice player customization feature along with automatic player matching for network play. I think you are gonna love it.

This game is really coming along, but we need your help. We haven't yet settled on a name (currently we are calling it Streetpoint). Now is your chance to suggest a name. Microsoft finalized its acquisition of Danger this week. I don't think we were the only ones taken aback when this was first announced, what would this mean for the platform we love?

I can't say that we have many more details today on how the platform will change, but we are definitely bullish. I think MS realizes that Windows Mobile just doesn't fill the needs of the average consumer. It makes a great corporate phone, but not a great one for the more casual user. They value the same things we all love about the Sidekick, so it seems unlikely we will see it change too much.

We do know a few things that Danger has in store though, and we can say that we are as excited as ever. It's going to be a great year for Sidekick users.

So in the end, we see this as just the start of a new era for Danger. We are working hard to bring you great new games and innovative applications to keep the platform as hot as ever.

You'll recognize most of these, but some are funny Danger prototype devices that we occasionally get ahead of releases in order to port our titles.

Remember Sokotop back in the Sidekick 2 days? Well, its back with a new name -- SokoPuzzler. It's packed with 240 levels to keep you busy for a long while. Your best records for each level are stored as you try to complete each puzzle in the game. If one puzzle is too hard, skip it and comeback to it later.

It's going through the final testing phase, so it should be available on the SK3, Slide, and LX soon.
